my yearly update:

-got hooked on "The Dresden Files" book series when I was researching for the TV series (as is my custom). They're like crack hopped up on smack. I've been going through "mental withdrawl" waiting for Proven Guilty to come in (although I think Borders screwed up and it's here without them notifying me) and for White Night to come out. (April 3, can't wait!)

um..
-had some scares
-had some fun
-met new people
-had a blast

..and that's pretty much it.
Oh, well, I couldn't write for the longest time. It was rather scary, I must admit. But I've picked it up again (thank whatever diety is listening), and I don't hate the stories too much, I guess.

Well, I'm going to go now, watch some of The Muppet Show, and continue reading Death Masks. 'Cause I'm at one of the dirty parts, and those are alway enjoyable. <.< >.>

to begin:transcripting my note (written today, around 1:30 central)

so, i don't usually write this down (@ least, on paper), but i'm too lazy to sneak on the computer so, here it goes.
i hate relatives.
especially when i'm stuck hiding out in my own room.
all i want to do is sleep, and we're all stuck being fucking hospitable.
but i'll go downstairs and be nice to the old woman meowing @ my cat, who isn't even related to me (the woman, not the cat), my college-dropout cousin (sort of), my smoking uncle (who isn't so bad), and his wife.

so, they're all gone now. my cousin (geoff) called from Iraq! i'll have to email him. (yay! i :heart: geoff. i never liked that side of the family (mainly because if my grandpa hadn't adopted my uncle, i wouldn't know 'em), but i miss geoff. he gave me most of my ska. and we're alike in some ways. he's sweet.) jimmy (other cousin) isn't so bad, i guess. after dinner, we came up, he showed me a picture of his new motorcycle, and we watched RvB. and i'm making a staple necklace.

"Can you put that in a memo and entitle it 'Shit I Already Know'?!"

next, my christmas present list, and those that i'm returning. indefinitely.
